Inspiring Travel
Wanderlost Adventures is where long-held travel dreams finally find their way into reality. For years, places like the Camino de Santiago lived quietly on my bucket list—ideas that felt inspiring, but just out of reach. This space is about changing that.
Through real stories, honest experiences, and reflections from the road, Wanderlost Adventures is here to inspire you—and to show that even the biggest journeys are more possible than they seem.
Let the journey unfold...
How did this travel thing get started?
Some of our best family memories have happened while traveling—usually when things felt a little unfamiliar, a little unexpected, and a little off the map.
Even while balancing busy careers, school, and sports, we always made travel a priority—seeking out places where we could experience cultures in a more meaningful way. From a six-month campervan journey through Australia and New Zealand to standing on the summit of Kilimanjaro, exploring the Serengeti, wandering the waterfalls of Croatia, and taking in the magic of Machu Picchu and Ireland’s smallest villages, our travels have taken us across six continents and more than 65 countries.
Along the way, we’ve learned that the most meaningful moments don’t come from checking off highlights—they come from truly being there.

When traveling in Asia, it’s essential to respect local customs and traditions. Learn a few basic phrases in the local language, as this can enhance your interactions. Always carry cash, as not all places accept cards. Be mindful of cultural differences, especially regarding dress codes and etiquette. Lastly, stay hydrated and be cautious with street food to enjoy a safe culinary adventure.
Asia boasts a diverse culinary landscape that varies by region. In Thailand, savor the spicy Pad Thai and Tom Yum soup. The best times to visit Asia vary by region. Generally, spring (March to May) and autumn (September to November) are ideal for most areas, offering pleasant weather.
